Supporting the work of Godalming United Church and supporting specific development activities in The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Uganda.
This includes the collection and shipping of surplus second-hand school furniture from UK schools being renewed and replaced for use in schools in the Gambia and Sierra Leone.

The countries of  West Africa are popular winter tourist destinations so we’d love to hear about your experiences of “The Smiling Coast”.   If you’re going to a West African Country such as The Gambia then do let us know how you got on.

Annual Report for 2018

However the annual report has recently been signed off by the auditors and is a useful update of the current activities of the Trust.

Whitmore Trust facilitates their objectives by receiving donations, equipment from many sources and then distributes any specific donations on behalf of  several charities.

It does not normally fund raise.

Currently you will find details of Bethel Nursery School whose main buidling project has ended but has arranged with the Whitmore Trust to receive donations to send to the school as required.
